Dr. Jose Luis Lozano Garcia is a board-certified Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. He joins South Heart Clinic with extensive training in cardiovascular medicine, advanced electrophysiology procedures, and patient-centered cardiac care.

 

Dr. Lozano Garcia completed his Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University following his Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at The State University of New York at Buffalo. He also completed his Internal Medicine Residency at University of Michigan Health System, where he was recognized for his commitment to quality improvement and patient safety.

Prior to joining South Heart Clinic, Dr. Lozano Garcia served as a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, where he performed advanced ablation procedures for atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), ventricular tachycardia (VT), and premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). He also specializes in the implantation and management of cardiac rhythm devices, including pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices, leadless pacemakers, and subcutaneous defibrillators.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lozano Garcia has contributed extensively to academic medicine through research, teaching, and mentorship. He previously served as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Human Genetics at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations in the field of electrophysiology and cardiology.

Dr. Lozano Garcia is board certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine. He is also certified in Adult Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is dedicated to delivering compassionate, innovative cardiovascular care to the communities he serves.
